GVPAP INAUGURAL SHOW: The first GVPAP juried show took place in the Community Room at the Barnes and Noble in Pittsford, New York. Paintings were selected and hung on Tuesday January 3; and a reception and awards ceremony was held on Saturday, January 7. The show closed on Friday January 27. 33 out of 54 members submitted a total of 130 paintings for judging. A total of 66 paintings (representing the work of 23 members) were selected by the judge, George Benedict of Syracuse. 13 paintings were awarded: 1 best of show, 6 Juror Awards, and 6 Merit Awards.
